1. Biography

The Kid and I, an exciting alternative rock band hailing from the UK, are set to immerse audiences with their upcoming live shows. Led by the multi-talented actor-musician Jacob Powell, the band brings a fresh blend of energetic rock and quirky riffs, infused with heartfelt lyrics reflecting the struggles of modern life. 


Joining forces with international bass player Ma’lek and London underground artist Minky Très-vain to complete the band line-up, Jacob Powell is ready to hit the stage with The Kid and I for a set of their already recognisable classics in a town near you.

Set to release a full-length live album in December of 2024, The Kid and I have plenty of material ready for the stage, with either a half-hour set or an hour-long show prepared.
