released four months before the album on which it serves as the opening track, ’give me my p45’ was published by SCRATCH ROCK RECORDS in order to promote BRAIN APE’s second album, ‘auslander’
its b-side, ‘hunger’, was released alongside the single. it too is featured on the full-length it promoted, however the version available on the single was mixed by producer ryan stephenson, who engineered and co-produced the album, as opposed to the final mix available on the record
