CRASH was written and produced by THE KID AND I and mastered by leon zervos (avril lavigne, fall out boy, beastie boys)
CRASH tells the story of what was supposed to be the end of everything - a life falling apart at the seams. it was all the sadness, hate, anger, ugly jealousy, and frustration at the world that had been collected over years and years compounded and squished into 4 songs. these songs pushed THE KID AND I emotionally and musically - embracing the hard punk edge of their live shows, mixed with the big hooky choruses they are known for, with some wonderful studio experimentation - making CRASH an amalgamation of everything THE KID AND I is at their absolute limit
CRASH holds high, and with hope, the message that YOU ARE ENOUGH. that things will get better. that you might not know it, but one day you’ll be grateful you stuck around to be where you are now
