jacob powell - born january 4th 1996 - is an english multi-instrumentalist
he first released music with SCRATCH ROCK in 2017 with BRAIN APE’s sophomore album ‘auslander’. since then he has collaborated further with BRAIN APE, most recently on the band’s third studio album ‘shrewd, britannia’
in 2020, jacob started the kid and i. in 2024, the band signed to scratch rock and released their first studio ep under the label in 2025: ‘CRASH’
