dydy haynes is one of the co-founders of SCRATCH ROCK RECORDS, as well as the former guitarist of BRAIN APE: a role he shared at the time with SCRATCH ROCK CEO, minky très-vain
joining BRAIN APE shortly after the release of SCRATCH ROCK RECORDS’ compilation ep ‘dead at 20’, haynes and très-vain moved into a flat together in london’s borough of hammersmith and fulham in order to work on the band’s debut album ‘dara o’’
haynes became notorious for his harsh guitar-tones and unconventional compositions, and worked as a creative force in the band until his departure in 2015
